Aardvark Barry - Pilot
The pilot episode takes place in a variety of rooms aboard the large shuttle Barry and Jimmy inhabit.
Barry’s Dorm
The sleeping quarters for Barry and Jimmy.
Gym
Barry’s persona gym, with equipment set up to suit his Aardvark accessibilities.
Kitchen
A kitchen seen in the Pilot Episode, where Barry is sitting and eating while listening to the news being emitted from a hologram.
Rafters
An area Barry uses to climb to the upper area of the ship.
Space Hangar
The hangar seen at the end of the Pilot episode where we get our climactic fight.
Episode Two Environments
THE SPACE STATION
The first episode of Aardvark Barry we produced takes place in a space station, where Barry and his crew run into some issues. I decided to created a design for both the exterior and interior sections, and wanted to create a neon and futuristic look that was colorful and full of life.
EXTERIOR STATION
The exterior section of the station is seen in the establishing shots of the episode as well as the climax, when Barry is thrust into space and has to fight it out in the red laser-like Hyperspace Highway.
INTERIOR STATION
The majority of the episode takes place in the interior station, moving around from place to place. I created a large set piece and we focus in on different areas of the station from scene to scene.
This clip is the environment used in one of the establishing shots of the interior station, in a scene where we watch passengers exit a shuttle and flock into the station.
